Additional Terms for the TRE® Provider Certification Program
The following terms apply specifically to participants enrolled in the Neurogenic Integration TRE® Provider Certification Program (“Certification Program”) and supplement the general Terms and Conditions of Neurogenic Integration (NI).
By enrolling in the Certification Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these additional terms, including provisions related to data protection, digital content delivery, recordings, refunds, and withdrawal rights.
Nature and Scope of the Certification Program
The TRE® Provider Certification Program is an educational and experiential training designed to teach the theory, principles, and facilitation skills related to Neurogenic Tremoring and TRE-based practices.
The Certification Program is not a medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic training, and does not confer any professional license or legal authority to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition.
Participation in the Certification Program is for educational purposes only and does not guarantee certification, professional recognition, or eligibility to practice in any specific jurisdiction.
The Neurogenic Integration TRE® Certification Program has been endorsed and approved by Dr. David Berceli and TRE For All as part of their Innovative Pathways certification track.
Upon successful completion of all program requirements, to the satisfaction of the assigned Trainers, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion as a Neurogenic Integration TRE® Provider issued through TRE For All.
Certified providers will also receive a complimentary profile listing in the Neurogenic Integration Provider Directory, subject to ongoing compliance with program standards and ethical guidelines.
No Guarantee of Certification
Enrollment in the Certification Program does not guarantee certification.
Certification is awarded only after successful completion of all program requirements, which may include, but are not limited to:
- Required coursework and study
- Personal practice requirements
- Supervised sessions and/or video reviews
- Demonstration of competency and readiness
- Adherence to ethical standards and professional conduct
Neurogenic Integration reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to withhold, delay, or deny certification if a participant has not met the required standards or is assessed as not ready to practice safely and responsibly.
Membership Suspension for Existing Neurogenic Integration Members
Participants who are already enrolled in an active Neurogenic Integration (NI) Membership at the time of registering for the Certification Program may choose to suspend their existing paid membership for the duration of the certification-included membership period.
Because a one-year NI Membership is included as part of the Certification Program, eligible participants may pause their current membership to avoid overlapping access and to ensure they do not lose the remaining value of their original membership.
To suspend an existing membership, participants must:
- Log in to their “My Account” area on the NI website
- Navigate to the Memberships section in the left sidebar
- Select their active membership and choose Cancel
Cancellation in this context functions as a temporary suspension of the existing membership and does not constitute a refund or termination of the original membership entitlement.
At the conclusion of the one-year certification-included membership period, Neurogenic Integration will send a reminder with a link allowing participants to reactivate their original membership.
Neurogenic Integration is not responsible for membership overlap or loss of value if a participant chooses not to suspend an existing membership or fails to follow the outlined steps.
Certification Program Fees, Refunds, and Withdrawal
Enrollment in the TRE® Provider Certification Program includes immediate access to digital educational content, written training materials (including the certification manual), administrative onboarding, and allocation of faculty and program resources. As such, the Certification Program constitutes a digital service with digital content under applicable consumer protection laws.
By enrolling in the Certification Program, participants expressly consent to the immediate delivery of digital content and services and acknowledge that the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal is waived once delivery has begun, in accordance with applicable law (EU / Norway).
As a voluntary and goodwill-based policy, Neurogenic Integration offers a limited refund window of seven (7) days from the date of enrollment only if:
- Delivery of the digital certification content has not begun, including access to or download of the certification manual or written training materials; and
- The participant has not attended any live certification sessions; and
- The participant has not completed any required personal sessions, video reviews, assignments, or coursework.
Once delivery of the digital certification content has begun — including access to or download of the certification manual — all certification fees are non-refundable, regardless of participation level.
No refunds will be issued for:
- Withdrawal after delivery of digital content has begun
- Failure to complete the Certification Program
- A decision not to pursue certification
- A determination that certification is delayed, withheld, or denied
Participants may withdraw from the Certification Program at any time; however, withdrawal does not entitle the participant to a refund, credit, or transfer of fees.
Student Status and Scope of Practice During Training
While enrolled in the Certification Program, participants are considered students-in-training and are not certified TRE® Providers.
Students may not:
- Represent themselves as certified TRE® Providers
- Use certification titles, logos, or branding
- Advertise or imply professional certification prior to formal completion
Any practice conducted during training must be clearly identified as practice by a trainee, and informed consent must be obtained from all practice participants.
Students are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional requirements in their own jurisdiction.
Educational Relationship vs. Therapeutic Relationship
All instruction, mentoring, personal sessions, and video review sessions provided within the Certification Program are offered solely for educational and training purposes.
Trainers, mentors, and reviewers act in the role of educators and evaluators only. Participation in the Certification Program does not create a therapeutic, clinical, or medical relationship between the student and Neurogenic Integration, its trainers, or staff.
Psychological Readiness and Ongoing Self-Responsibility
The Certification Program involves ongoing engagement with nervous system regulation, embodied practices, and self-reflection.
Participants acknowledge their responsibility to monitor their own physical, emotional, and psychological capacity throughout the training and to seek appropriate professional support when needed.
Neurogenic Integration reserves the right to recommend additional support, require a pause in training, or temporarily suspend participation if continued involvement is assessed to pose a risk to the participant or others.
Suspension, Removal, or Denial of Certification
Neurogenic Integration reserves the right to suspend, remove, or deny certification to any participant in cases including, but not limited to:
- Ethical violations or breaches of professional conduct
- Misrepresentation of credentials or certification status
- Unsafe or inappropriate facilitation practices
- Breach of confidentiality
- Disruptive, harmful, or unprofessional behavior
- Failure to comply with program requirements or policies
In such cases, certification may be denied and no refunds will be issued.
Use of Certification Title, Language, and Branding
Use of titles such as “Certified TRE® Provider,” “Neurogenic Integration TRE® Provider,” or similar designations is permitted only after certification has been formally granted by Neurogenic Integration.
Unauthorized use of certification titles, trademarks, logos, or branding may result in removal from the program, revocation or denial of certification, and/or legal action where appropriate.
Post-Certification Responsibility
Certified TRE® Providers operate as independent practitioners. Neurogenic Integration does not supervise or control post-certification practice and assumes no responsibility for client outcomes, professional conduct, or legal matters arising from independent work.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Neurogenic Integration (NI), nor any of its officers, directors, and employees, be liable to you for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this Website, whether such liability is under contract, tort, or otherwise, and NI, including its officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of this Website.
This limitation of liability applies equally to participants, students, and certified providers, including those enrolled in or graduating from the TRE® Provider Certification Program.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
Variation of Terms
Neurogenic Integration (NI) is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website you are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.
Assignment
Neurogenic Integration (NI) is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Neurogenic Integration (NI) and you in relation to your use of this Website and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Norway, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Norway for the resolution of any disputes.
By accessing this website, you are indicating your acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms of use. These terms of use are subject to change by our company at any time at our discretion. Your use of this website after such changes are implemented constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the changes.
