Access your body’s inborn mechanism to release and integrate tension, trauma and find flow. The method is easy to learn and safe to practice and is well suited as both as an individual- and as a group practice.
What is Neurogenic Tremoring?

Neurogenic Tremoring is an involuntary, non-pathological tremor originating in the brainstem, present in all mammals. Its natural function is to release emotional and physical tension following shock, trauma, stress, or intense experiences—including both challenging and positive ones. This mechanism allows the body to process and discharge both past and recent events, restoring balance to the nervous system.
In nature, mammals naturally tremor to regulate their systems, yet in most human cultures, this response is suppressed and poorly understood. Because tremoring is often misinterpreted as a sign of weakness, people have learned to override this response, disconnecting from a vital self-regulation tool that is hardwired into the body.
Neurogenic Tremoring has long been observed by therapists as a natural response in the body. However, it was Dr. David Berceli, PhD, who recognized its deep therapeutic potential. Through years of observation across cultures and backgrounds worldwide, he developed TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises)—a simple and effective method to activate the tremor reflex in most people.
Our mission at Neurogenic Integration is to make this practice accessible globally, and bring Neurogenic Tremoring into new arenas, fostering partnerships, and ensuring that more people benefit from this innate self-regulation tool.

Tremor Stress Relief
Neurogenic Tremoring is a reflex causing a tremor or shiver response in the skeletal muscles of the body. This tremor is involuntary in character so you can just relax into it and allow the gentle vibrations to release stress and tension from your body, mind and heart.

Gentle, Controlled Tremoring
The method is easy to learn and safe to practice and is well suited as both as an individual- and as a group practice. The method is gentle yet effective and feels totally different than from voluntary shaking. You are in control and can start and stop it when you want.

Inborn Stress Regulation
Neurogenic Tremoring is hardwired in the autonomic nervous system of all mammals. It is therefore natural to think that this inborn mechanism is built into our bodies for the nervous system to have a way to self-regulate after demanding or traumatic experiences
What is Neurogenic Integration?

Neurogenic Integration is dedicated to spreading the use of Neurogenic Tremoring worldwide, across wellness, health, and fitness professions, as well as within organizations, businesses, and the scientific community. Our mission is to establish Neurogenic Tremoring, as seen in TRE, as a widely recognized and accessible tool, whether practiced as a standalone method or integrated with other techniques and systems.
Because Neurogenic Tremoring is an innate function of the human nervous system, understanding and expanding its use is essential. By bringing greater awareness to this natural mechanism, we aim to broaden its applications, deepen scientific exploration, and support its integration into diverse fields.

Innate Healing Vibrations
With Neurogenic Tremoring you relax into the vibration and let it work through your body in its own, innate way, allowing it to release blockages you might hold, physical, emotional and spiritual.

Deep Relaxation
Neurogenic Tremoring allows you to relax deeply, to find peace and an inner quiet, and your body can release old patterns and tensions, and finds a new state of being and helps you to integrate this.

Nervous System Balance
By starting the tremor mechanism in your body you allow your autonomic nervous system to find balance in the sympathetic and parasympathetic tonus so you can move out out of a state of survival and into a state in calm alertness.
