You’ve probably seen it on the treatment table — a spontaneous tremor, a wave of shaking that arrives unbidden and leaves the client feeling lighter. That response isn’t random. It’s an innate recovery mechanism, shared across mammals, that helps the nervous system discharge tension and return to balance after stress.
This four-day professional training introduces manual therapists and bodyworkers to the neurophysiological foundations and practical applications of neurogenic tremoring. Drawing on the pioneering work of Dr. David Berceli, founder of Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE®), the seminar presents a structured, evidence-informed approach for integrating tremor facilitation into manual therapy practice.
You’ll explore the science through the lenses of autonomic nervous system regulation, polyvagal theory, biotensegrity, and trauma-informed care — including the role of the psoas muscle and fascial lines in stress physiology, and how to track nervous system states using the Window of Tolerance. Most importantly, you’ll gain embodied experience: first through your own tremoring process, then by facilitating others safely on the treatment table through daily demonstrations and supervised partner work.
By the end of the course, you’ll have the theoretical understanding, perceptual skills, and hands-on methods to introduce neurogenic tremoring into your existing therapeutic modalities in a safe, ethical, and effective way.
The curriculum is the culmination of a multi-year collaboration between Alex Greene and TRE® founder David Berceli — born from a shared vision to bridge the gap between neurogenic tremoring and clinical bodywork.

Alex Greene is a somatic therapist, educator, and international trainer specializing in the integration of neurogenic tremoring within body-oriented therapies. He is co-founder of Neurogenic Integration, an educational platform dedicated to advancing the understanding and practice of neurogenic tremoring worldwide.
Alex originally trained as a Structural Integration practitioner and has more than twenty years of experience helping clients and students cultivate self-regulation and embodied awareness. His professional training includes Myofascial Release, Visceral Manipulation, Zero Balancing, Somatic Experiencing®, Internal Family Systems, the Safe and Sound Protocol, Brainspotting, and the Feldenkrais Method®. He teaches internationally across Europe, North America, Asia, and Africa — from physicians in China and bodyworkers in Japan to psychotherapists in Kenya and firefighters at FDNY in New York — and has presented for organizations such as the Upledger Institute of Romania.
Alex is known for a grounded, experiential teaching style that bridges neuroscience, manual therapy, and trauma-informed practice — empowering practitioners to bring neurogenic tremoring directly into their hands-on work.

Ágnes is the founder of BalancedYOU Therapy & Learning Hub. Building on her clinical foundation from Budapest’s Semmelweis University, she began her career as a physiotherapist, using manual therapy as a more powerful holistic approach. Over time, her practice evolved beyond physical therapy tools, leading her to dedicate her career to exploring the connection between the body, the mind, and the nervous system.
Ágnes works from an integrative perspective, helping clients and peers understand that our automatic body responses to stress and trauma are not random — they are neurobiological reactions, and we always have agency over our internal processes. She is deeply committed to supporting physiotherapists, manual therapists, and bodyworkers in evolving their practice, and is the host of the very first Neurogenic Tremoring for Manual Therapists and Bodyworkers seminar in Budapest.

My name is Mihaela Marcu, and my professional career has been marked by excellence and a tireless passion for holistic healing. I initially began my career in the technical field, having graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Craiova, with a specialization in Machine Construction Technology (TCM). This foundation in engineering gave me a solid understanding of complex structures and operating mechanisms—principles that I later applied to the study of the human body. After emigrating to Canada with my family, I went through a transitional period that proved to be the catalyst for a significant career change.
I worked at a wellness and spa center, where I developed my initial skills in cosmetology and massage, followed by specializations in lymphatic drainage, reflexology, and aromatherapy. This period paved the way for me toward complementary medicine, during which I discovered Craniosacral Therapy (CST). Fascinated by the gentleness and effectiveness of this technique, CST quickly became my passion and my primary professional focus. “My passion for Craniosacral Therapy stemmed from my fascination with how such a gentle touch can trigger such profound healing mechanisms. I realized that we don’t repair structures; rather, we facilitate the vital balance of life.”—Mihaela Gugu I returned to Romania with a clear mission: to promote and develop complementary therapies and CranioSacral Therapy to the highest standards. Today, I am the official representative of the Upledger International Institute, leading its Romanian branch. Through this strategic position, I founded the Upledger Method Craniosacral Association with the goal of promoting CST and bringing the Upledger school and protocols to Romania. I am also an Authorized Teacher (Instructor) for the Introduction to CST and CST1 levels, actively contributing to the training of new generations of therapists and ensuring that the practice of CST in Romania develops under the guidance and quality guaranteed by international standards.
In addition to the Upledger Institute’s branch in Romania, I have also taken over the leadership of the Barral Institute’s branch in Romania, dedicating myself to expanding our offerings by promoting Visceral Manipulation (VM), Neuro-Meningeal Manipulation (NM), and other manual techniques.
