While spontaneous neurogenic movement is all too often only viewed as a release of stored tension or trauma, this workshop invites a broader perspective — one that welcomes not just the letting go, but the reactivation of neuromuscular strength and patterning.
Drawing on the natural wisdom of the body’s pandiculation response — the simultaneous experience of stretching under load that we see in animals and experience ourselves during a yawn — we’ll explore how the neurogenic process is not only about discharge & the release of tension, but about reawakening & intensifying the body’s ability to generate pain-free tension as well.
Using a three-phase approach to volitional pandiculation & TRE as an entry point, during this experiential workshop you’ll explore your body’s innate capacity to reconnect and reorganize itself through both spontaneous pandiculation & neurogenic tremors in order to restore its instinctive impulse to pulsate between maximum strength & deepest stillness.
