For Personal Practice

Neurogenic Integration is dedicated to spreading the use of Neurogenic Tremoring worldwide, across wellness, health, and fitness professions, as well as within organizations, businesses, and the scientific community.

Because Neurogenic Tremoring is an innate function of the human nervous system, understanding and expanding its use is essential. By bringing greater awareness to this natural mechanism, we aim to broaden its applications, deepen scientific exploration, and support its integration into diverse fields.

Neurogenic Tremoring is an involuntary, non-pathological tremor originating in the brainstem, present in all mammals. Its natural function is to release emotional and physical tension following shock, trauma, stress, or intense experiences—including both challenging and positive ones. This mechanism allows the body to process and discharge both past and recent events, restoring balance to the nervous system.
Absolutely. Neurogenic Integration is dedicated to deepening and expanding TRE in a number of ways through both personal and professional explorations. You don’t need to begin with our Foundations course, but you will get tremendous value from our more advanced courses, regular online live classes and monthly workshops.
Neurogenic Tremoring is beneficial for a wide range of individuals. Whether you’re looking to manage everyday stress, address trauma, enhance your physical and emotional health, or enhance personal growth, Neurogenic Tremoring offers a gentle yet powerful way to support your well-being.
Our Foundations Course provides a comprehensive introduction to Neurogenic Tremoring, including its history, the science behind it, and practical techniques for starting your own practice. You’ll learn how to safely initiate tremors, the importance of self-regulation, and how to integrate this practice into your daily life for lasting benefits.

The Advanced Practices Course takes your tremoring practice to the next level by introducing new techniques, body positions, and the use of props such as chairs, pillows, and yoga blocks. This course is designed to help you explore variations, deepen your practice, and discover new ways to release tension and stress.

Self-regulation refers to your ability to manage and control your emotional and physical responses during the practice of Neurogenic Integration. It involves listening to your body, knowing when to slow down, take a break, or stop, and ensuring that your practice remains safe and comfortable. An essential aspect of self-regulation is staying objective and adopting the role of an observer, where you can calmly “look” at what your body, emotions, and thoughts are doing without judgment. This approach not only keeps your practice safe, but also allows for deeper insights and more profound benefits as you learn to navigate your internal experiences with greater awareness and equanimity.

Neurogenic Tremoring/TRE is an integral component of holistic healing and wellness programs. While generally safe and effective for stress release, certain precautions must be observed:

  • Neurogenic Tremoring/TRE should not be used as a replacement for medical or psychiatric/psychological diagnosis and treatment.
  • It is not a substitute for trauma recovery methods that require medical or psychological/psychiatric intervention.
  • Participation in Neurogenic Tremoring/TRE sessions and programs does not guarantee a cure of any sort and should not replace professional medical or psychological care.
  • Individuals with specific physical or psychological conditions, fragile psychological defenses, complex trauma histories, or significant physical limitations must consult their medical practitioner and obtain consent before engaging in Neurogenic Tremoring/TRE exercises.
  • TRE practitioners do not diagnose or interfere with the treatment prescribed by licensed medical professionals.
  • Participation in group or private Neurogenic Tremoring/TRE sessions is undertaken at the client’s own risk, and neither Neurogenic Integration, nor its providers or coaches can be held liable for any outcomes resulting from the use of information on this website or engagement in our services.

Neurogenic Tremoring should not be practiced under the following conditions:

  • Pregnancy
  • Epilepsy
  • Seizures
  • Schizophrenia
  • Recent open wound surgery

Neurogenic Tremoring should be practiced with care, under the following conditions:

  • Lack of ability to self-regulate
  • Physical pain that increase with tremoring
  • Certain chronic conditions, for example, Fibromyalgia or IBS
  • Under psychiatric treatment
The courses provide clear, step-by-step instructions to ensure you’re practicing Neurogenic Integration safely and effectively. Additionally, our Advanced Practices Course offers further guidance on exploring variations and deepening your practice. If you have any specific concerns, our FAQ page and customer support are always available to assist you.
If you ever feel overwhelmed, it’s important to pause and practice self-regulation. Take a break, breathe deeply, and allow yourself to rest. Our courses emphasize the importance of listening to your body and knowing when to slow down. If you continue to feel uncertain, we recommend seeking additional guidance from a qualified facilitator/provider. Please contact us directly for more information about this.

Both the Foundations Course and the Advanced Practices Course are online self-learning video courses, designed to be self-paced. They include video tutorials and practical exercises that cover the basic understanding of Neurogenic Tremoring, how it works, and how to practice easily and safely at your own pace.

Both our Monthly and Yearly Memberships include the Foundations Course at no extra cost.
You don’t need much — just a quiet space where you can move comfortably, a yoga mat or soft surface to lie on, and any props you like (such as a blanket, cushion, or chair). We recommend a waterbottle and perhaps a journal to write any comments in. You’ll also need a stable internet connection and a device with Zoom installed. For some sessions headphones are recommended

Every body is different, but many people find that 1–3 times per week supports ongoing stress release and integration. Our weekly live sessions help you stay consistent, but you can also use our video library anytime to fit your own rhythm.

No problem if you are a member — all live classes are recorded and added to our member library. You can revisit them anytime, so you never miss out on a practice.

Absolutely. With live sessions every week and a growing library of recordings, you can practice whenever it works best for you. Whether you join us live or catch up later, you’ll still be supported by the community and our facilitators.
