The Breath-Tremor Connection: Unlocking the Diaphragm

In this unique workshop, we explore the deep connection between breath mechanics and neurogenic tremoring. By understanding the anatomy and function of your breathing muscles, you’ll learn how breath awareness and technique can support and amplify your tremor practice and vice versa.

The diaphragm is a central player in both breath and tremor work. Often stuck or underused, it holds tension that limits our ability to fully release. By exploring the overlapping muscle groups involved in breathing and tremoring, you’ll learn how to awaken this core area and create space for more freedom, fluidity, and flow.

You’ll be guided through:

• A simple, practical overview of breath anatomy and mechanics

• Exercises to strengthen, stretch, and mobilize the diaphragm

• Techniques for using breath to deepen tremoring and vice versa

• A neurogenic tremor session followed by breath-focused integration

• Tools for increasing daily breath awareness and emotional regulation

This workshop is free for members, if you have a membership please login to see the zoom link.

Why this matters:

Freeing the diaphragm and increasing breath awareness isn’t just helpful during a session—it supports your nervous system and health in everyday life.

When breathing becomes more efficient and diaphragmatic, it naturally supports the production and balance of nitric oxide (NO) and carbon dioxide (CO₂)—two powerful internal molecules with profound benefits:

• Nitric oxide (NO) acts as a vasodilator, relaxing blood vessels, improving circulation, reducing blood pressure, and supporting immune and anti-inflammatory responses.

• Carbon dioxide (CO₂), often misunderstood, plays a vital role in maintaining oxygen delivery, calming the nervous system, and also contributes to vasodilation and reduced systemic inflammation.

Together, breath and tremor practices improve:

• Stress resilience and emotional regulation
• Lung capacity and cardiovascular health
• Vagal tone and nervous system balance
• Relief from anxiety, tension, and physical holding patterns
• Inflammation reduction and blood pressure support

Whether you’re new to this work or looking to deepen your understanding, this session offers a rich experience of how breath and tremor, when used in synergy, can become a daily resource for release, regulation, and long-term well-being.
